Your thoughs are similar to mine. A scorpion for the normal days. Add a SP-55 speaker for the few occasions when more volume is necessary. Such as crow hunting. The scorpion is a nice, compact, light weight package with enough volume for most applications, a great remote and plenty of room for lots of sounds. It, along with a SP-55 speaker is less expensive than a FX-5 and comes with an additional 50 sounds. Soo... I think it may well be the best option for me. Thanks again, Don Post Extras
