I've seen many of them down here in Florida, from the 6" pygmy's to the 6+' eastern diamondbacks. They scare me shitless. I hate'em. Every damned one of them. Moccasins are about as bad. Not as common, but just as hostile, and they seem to have a 'tude, too. I tend to view snakes in a Biblical context, which is bad enough, but then there's these big bad sumbitches out there, and it really makes my hair stand up and my skin crawl. I doubt if I can adequately convey in the written medium the true depth of my animus toward them.
