hi im new on here i got a quick question for yas
okay im a lefty im looking to get a .17 rem not much luck finding one im wondering for example if i buy a ruger or savage left handed in 204 thru 223 im a small bolt face can i just get a any .17 rem barrel and switch em out or would it even match up threads etc tryting to figure it out would like to get the ball rolling on a .17 rem

Most rem barrels will fit most rem actions.
Savage barrels fit savage actions etc.
Best bet is to buy a beater lh action and have a custom barrel installed. Chances are slim to find something suitable in 17 Rem.

Yea, what Dave said.
Though I also want to add, there are items such as headspace issues that you may run into tying to just swap barrels. Have a gunsmith do it for you. He should know how to check these things so you have a rifle that is SAFE to shoot.

i went ahead and baught a .17 fireball in remington model 7 a ffl dealer i know back home found one left handed so im getting it i appriciate the info when i get home i can take it out and giver a spin
