I was at Blockbuster today when some lady starts yelling "stop him". I see a little kid with a red purse running like his tails on fire across the parking lot.
I get furious with thieves, so I ran across the parking lot after the kid. I havent run like that since High School. Looking back on it, I was in no way sure what I would do if I caught him, but my patinece with thievery had worn so thin I figured Id cross that bridge when I came to it. It was a planned job though as the kid was able to dive into a waiting pickup and the pickup screeched out of the McDonalds lot, but not before I got the plate. There were three Mexicans in that pickup and I told all this to the 911 guy.
So five cops show up and they start canvassing the neighborhood. One stays behind to talk to me and as it happens I got to show him my new drivers license. It was about 6 hours old at that point becasue I had just gotten back from getting my Motorcycle endorsement.
All this before 2 PM. What a day.

If you'd caught the scumbag, you'd have probably had three mexicans trying their best to kick your tail.
One more reason to carry.
Like you, I absolutely despise a thief.
The next time you run into that bunch, I hope you're in your truck.

Guess you'll never know if the cops caught them. With the plate number it shouldn't have been to difficult.

Very possible it was a stolen vehicle too. They probably drove it 4 or 5 blocks from the crime scene and jumped in a different vehicle.

Naw. Most criminals aren't that smart.

More likely they are transients and the address that the registration comes back to is no longer a good address for the vehicle's owner.
