So I bought a new truck in June. Nice Dodge Ram, got a screamin' deal on it. It's beautiful, and I've been wanting a truck for a long, long time. I gave 'em a bunch of money down, then had to scrimp and save to get the sales tax together, but I did it. My first payment on it cleared the bank yesterday.
Today, I washed it up, put a coat of wax on it, then packed up and headed off to the shooting range in it. I was about a half mile from the range when some kid driving with his dad on his permit pulled right out in front of me, got spooked, and stopped. I had just topped out a hill and was doing about 50. He actually got clear of me and into his lane, but his wheel was cut all the way to the left and he came back around and caught me on the driver's side; trashed my bed and my wheel, steering is messed up............
Life sucks today.

Kev, sorry to hear about this, did this happen on that outer road? Bunch of idiots out that way. A couple of years back, John's parked van got tagged when a 17 year old was teaching his 14 year old girlfriend how to drive. At least your kid was able to hit a moving target.

Yeah Dan, right on that outer road, not a quarter mile from the entrance to the range. I had my little sister in the truck with me, so thank God I didn't roll the truck... came pretty close.
I got the truck to the dealer on the spare tire, so hopefully they'll take care of me better than a normal body shop would. I put in a call to my insurance just in case.
And Mark, this one even has chunks of corn in it.
