Almost three years ago Vic and I put up a Website called "Vic and John-Henry's Coyote Calling Page." Since then it's become a modest fixture on the Internet; lots and lots of fellas interested in calling have stopped by to visit and pick up a tip or two, and lots more have written to me with questions that either weren't covered on the Website at all, or weren't addressed as fully as they might be.
It's all been lots of fun, and flattering to boot, but the volume of e-mail that we receive has become a burdensome and oppressive weight (especially now that calling season is here) so we've decided to expand our Site and try to address some of the most commonly asked questions that folks have regarding calling and rifles and coyote behavior and sounds and camo and all of the other stuff that goes along with this affliction known as varmint calling.
I'm not the most ambitious fella in the world when it comes to writing HTML, and Vic won't mess with it at all, so this Website will probably be under construction for a while, but we'll try to add to it as flashes of retarded genius hit us, so you might check back from time to time.
I've recently discovered a little program that lets me generate JavaScript buttons (which are VERY cool) so until my button fit passes, ya'll will just sorta have to navigate this thing haphazardly by springing from button to button. I'm also NOT big on "Links" pages, so I've chosen to embed active links in the general text instead (Conventional "links" pages usually end up as a huge list of addresses with no particular explaination attached, and they give me a headache).
As usual, comments, critisisms, suggestions, and homage can be directed to me at
John-Henry
and I'll try to answer you as quickly as I may.
Part of this space will be devoted to some original articles by fellas other than ourselves; one of the great things about our Web involvement is that it's enabled us to become quite sophisticated and stuff; some of the callers that we've met even live in other states, and they do things a little differently in some of those places.
We are also going to move the original Web Page over to this server virgo intacto, as it were; mainly because I'm too lazy to re-write it, and also because we have some lingering fondness for it; it was our first effort on the 'Net, and it's taken us down some strange roads.
We hope that you'll enjoy this Site, and we hope that we can help ya'll a little in your pursuit (although the best thing to do is probably sell the calls and the rifles and take up something like bowling).
Good Hunting to all of you.
John-Henry
